Carmichael are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor
The role will require working from project offices between Aylesbury and Southam and reporting to the Commercial Manager.
The role will require working with operational schemes as well as supervision of junior QS’s
It is a management role that encompasses the whole life cycle of commercial activity from tender support to account settlement.
- Compilation and Presentation of monthly CVR reports
- Supervisory Management of Junior QS staff.
- Contract administration of multiple projects including Notifications and pricing/agreeing Compensation events.
- Contract Reviews
- Subcontract ITTs. Production of subcontract agreements and administration of subcontract accounts to final account.
- Internal reporting to SDS Commercial Manager
- Adherence to Kier Governance procedures
- Developing and Delivering Margin Improvement Plans
- Experience of managing multiple £1m + contracts
- Utility Project Experience
- 5 years + experience
- Client Facing capabilities
- Supervisory Management Skills
- Good working knowledge of NEC3/4 Form of contract
