A high-profile job-based in Blyth are looking for a Senior QS to join their team.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you can be expected to work within a close-knit and supportive team and will be given the autonomy to lead and manage. You will be expected to to deal with cost reconciliations, cash management, subcontractor account management, dispute management, and much more.
You will be a strong communicator and be able to maintain strong relationships with both clients and colleagues, you will be quick to resolve issues and proactive in your approach.
About you:
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Rail experience
- Strong knowledge of NEC contracts including options A, B, and C
- Knowledge of NR forms of contract
- Experience of working on civil engineering projects
- Clear communication skills and proactive in tackling issues
