CarmichaelUK is on the lookout for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to assist a Tier 1 Contractor on a highways maintenance and improvement scheme in Berkshire. Based in Chieveley you will be responsible for the be the dedicated commercial contact for this high quantity, low-value packages ranging from £20k - £1.5m.
Reporting into the Commercial Manager you will be responsible for:
- Budgets
- Forecasts
- Client interface
- Raising Claims
- Managing a small team of Quantity Surveyors
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a degree or HND in Quantity Surveying
- Have previous man management experience
- Have worked with high volume low-value projects within a wider framework
- Have previous highway maintenance and upgrade experience
