Carmichael are after a Senior Site Agent to be based on the HS2 project in Buckinghamshire.
Overview of Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that the contract is executed in accordance with the requirements of the health and safety plan, work package plan, quality and environmental plan etc.
- Delivery of the contract within programme and budget.
- Liaison with site staff and managing surveyor to ensure tender allowances are not exceeded.
- The continuous monitoring of contract progress to ensure contract objectives are being met.
- Ensuring that in conjunction with the site team changes to the contract are identified, agreed and effectively managed.
- The provision of formal reports on contract progress to the Contracts Manager.
- Offer technical support and advise solutions on any issues on designs.
- Managing sub contract packages
Requirements
You will be from a technical civil engineering background and have previous experience as a Site Agent or Senior Package Manager on large valued projects.
- Minimum requirement of HNC or HND in civil engineering.
- Reinforced concrete structures experience such as bridges
- Strong planning pre-activity preparation (Temporary works, WPPS, SSOWs)
