A lengthy freelance opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join a dynamic team on the construction of a large industrial plant. Experience on large industrial projects which include heavy reinforced concrete structures is an advantage.
Your duties will include:
- Compiling of method statements and risk analysis
- Overseeing the setting out and surveying
- Produce and monitor weekly programs
- Interpreting and implementing of the construction process and procedure
- Ensuring the works are constructed according to the design and specifications
- Monitoring and management in house staff and subcontractors
- Produce accurate daily diaries and plant recons
- Quality control in accordance to the specifications
- Permit clearances, RFIs, daily records, etc
- As built drawings
- Health and Safety compliance
Requirements:
- HND or Degree in Civil Engineering
- Extensive continuous construction experience on large civil engineering project containing heavy reinforced concrete structures
- Solid communication and site management experience.
- CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid
- Passionate and results driven
