A large civil engineering contractor that specialise in Highways projects are searching for a Senior Site Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Due to an increase in workload in the Buckinghamshire area they require an experienced Senior Site Engineer with sufficient Highways maintenance/upgrade experience to assist with projects in the area.
You will undertake a varied balance of projects from dual carriageway construction, road maintenance, public footway and general upgrades for local authorities across the Buckinghamshire area.
Some of your responsibilities would be:
- To design, prepare and programme works for highways and other services
- Providing prompt and accurate updates to clients
- Providing assistance with the team leader
- Mentoring Junior Engineers
- Ensure budget control and financial management is thorough
- Liaising with greater site team
About you:
- HNC/D or Degree in Civil Engineering
- Sufficient experience within the Highways sector
- Experience of setting out
- Able to commute throughout Buckinghamshire
