A great opportunity, inside IR35, exists for an experienced and skilled Site Engineer to work alongside the Section Engineer on a rail/civil project in Tyne and Wear. Your competency coupled with extensive of hands-one setting out of civil engineering and rail infrastructure is sought.
Duties include, but not limited to -
- Assisting the section Engineer in daily duties
- Setting out of drainage, roads, sewers, concrete structures, building foundations etc
- compiling As-builts
- Interpreting drawings
- Managing subcontractors
- Recording progress
- Ensuring and recording Quality
- Health and Safety compliance
Requirements for this position -
- HNC/D Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Extensive setting out experience for a tier one contractor
- Experienced in civils, drainage, concrete, highways etc.
- Prior rail experience would be advantageous but is not necessary
- No PTS required for this role
