A well-established infrastructure specialist are searching for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis which covers the HS2 enabling works package.
They have been awarded various packages of work with a focus on utility and highway diversion, this will entail heavy earthworks, drainage, traffic management and roadworks.
This would be an excellent challenge for an experienced Section Engineer that possesses strong enabling works experience and is keen to get involved on one of the most prestigious infrastructure projects in the UK.
Some of your duties will include:
- Overseeing setting out and site engineers
- Prepare written risk and method statements
- Ensuring your section meets company quality and health & safety standards
- Maintaining a site diary
- Advising site engineers on setting out methods and techniques
- Maintaining strong client liaison and with third party colleagues
- Liaise closely with greater site team to ensure deadlines are met on time
- Liaise with external contractors when necessary
About you:
- Degree in civil engineering
- Strong technical ability
- Previous experience of setting out
- Demonstrable experience within a management position
