An excellent opportunity exists with a tier one multi-disciplined national civil engineering contractor for experienced Senior Engineers that reside in the Northwest. If you have experience on the construction of major roads and highway projects then this post is for you.
Your duties as the Senior Engineer will include the following:
- Overseeing the setting out duties and as-builts
- Managing and quantifying materials
- Assisting the Sub Agent and Agent in the delivery of the project
- Attending progress meetings and providing technical input
- Tend to all design requirements
- Ensure the works are completed in accordance to the design
- Ensure H&S as well as QA
The Requirements for this post are as follows:
- Preferably a civil engineering qualification
- CSCS Card. SSSTS or SMSTS Ticket
- Have a good working knowledge of current H&S Legislation
- Previous similar highways/major roads construction experience in the employ of a principal contractor
- Capable of creating and reading BIM models (Civils 3D, AutoCAD) advantageous
- Have a strong knowledge and management of construction process in one or more of the following areas: Earthworks/Drainage, Pavement, Comms, Structures, and Roadworks.
