Senior Engineer RC Frames
A perm opportunity exists for an experienced and competent Senior Engineer with a national tier two principle building contractor in West Midlands. Previous experience on RC frames projects especially on high rise buildings with lift shafts is essential for this post.
Your duties will include –
- Daily interaction with the Site Manager and Structural Engineers
- Interpreting drawings and setting out of the works
- Calling off steel and concrete
- Checking the work of the subcontractors
- Overseeing the slip forming of lift shafts
- Ensuring Health and Safety as well as QA is adhered to
The requirements are -
- Preferably a Civil Engineering qualification
- Proficient in setting out
- Solid high rise RC frame experience as a Senior Engineer
- Excellent all round construction knowledge
- Reliable, responsible and enthusiastic
- CSCS and First Aid
