Senior Site Engineer/Sub Agent
A perm or freelance opportunity exist for a Senior Site Engineer/Sub Agent with extensive marine experience on a project north of Glasgow. Experience in the construction of jetties will be a definite advantage.
Duties will include
- Assisting the Site Agent to determine the construction sequence
- Writing and approving method statements and risk analysis
- Management of nominated subcontractors
- Resource planning
- Programming of the works
- Tasking and evaluating Engineers
- Implementing health and safety
- Approving permits
Requirements for this post include –
- A civil engineering tertiary qualification
- Previous marine piling and jetty construction experience
- Proven management experience
- CSCS, SMSTS and first aid
