An excellent opportunity exists for experienced and competent Senior/Section Engineers with extensive continuous major roads and/or highways experience to work on this large highway project scheme. Help transform the motorways landscape by being part of this long-term project on a permanent or freelance basis.
Duties of Section/Senior Engineer will include:
- Ensuring the works are constructed according to the design and specifications
- Ensure Health and Safety compliance
- Produce and monitor weekly programs
- Interpreting and implementing of the construction process and procedure
- Monitoring and management of the nominated subcontractors
- Quality control in accordance to the specifications
- Compiling of Method Statements
- Produce accurate daily records
- Permit clearances, RFIs, TQs etc
- Manage and task Site Engineering staff
Requirements for Section Engineer:
- HND or Degree in Civil Engineering
- Previous Senior/Section Engineering experience on a large Civil engineering project whilst employed by a tier one contractor
- Solid continuous experience on highways or major roads
- CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid
