CarmichaelUK have an opening for a Setting Out Engineer for 3 weeks' work in Buckinghamshire, starting on November 25th. This work is part of the enabling works for the offline highways package of phase 2 of the EWR project.The EWR project is a £530m scheme to reopen the train line between Oxford and Cambridge.
Role overview:
- Setting out core holes (average 3 per day)
- Help set up traffic management scheme
- Work closely with site Manager to ensure works are carried out to plan
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a degree or HND in Civil Engineering or related subject
- Hold a valid CSCS card
- Have experience setting out for roads/highways projects
- Be inducted on the EWR scheme (not compulsory)
