CarmichaelUK are looking for a Setting Out Engineer to work on a swimming pool renovation project in Plymouth. The job is programmed to be running for 3 months and will start in mid-August. Our client is a leading specialist survey company who are sub-contracting for Balfour Beatty. The job will involve carrying out initial survey (laser scan & modelling) of the site and then providing engineering expertise to ensure the job is carried out in an accurate manner.
Reporting into the Engineering Survey Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Laser scanning
- Modelling
- Site setting out
- Finding levels and grades
- Ensuring site health & safety regulations are adhered to
- Providing support to the site team
We are looking for someone who:
- Has an HNc or higher in Civil Engineering or related subject
- Holds a valid CSCS card
