A widely recognised civil engineering contractor who have been in operation for close to 60 years are searching to add a Site Engineer to their team on a permanent basis.
They work within several sectors but are looking to add the Setting Out Engineer to their Civil Engineering team which will see you involved in overseeing 278 and section 38 works throughout Norwich, Suffolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire.
This business has a strong level of staff retention and they will support your career aspirations to enable you to become a Senior Engineer and further or even look into project management if this is of interest.
This company will be able to support you by paying lodging if you need to stay away and will also allow time to finish early in order to travel back home for the day.
Your duties will include:
- To receive all drawings and information and set out sites in accordance to specifications
- Provide all necessary as built drawings and information
- To provide general assistance to the project manager
- To keep measuring equipment in a suitable condition for accurate measurement
- To carry out survey work when required on behalf of the technical department.
Requirements:
- HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years' experience setting out
- CSCS
- Drivers license
- Able to work out of Norwich, Suffolk, Essex or Cambridgeshire when required
