An inside IR35 freelance opportunity exists for a highly experienced Site Engineer who is knowledgeable, keen and willing to continuously perform setting out duties within a pressurised environment.
Your ability to think on your feet and find surveying/setting out solutions instantly is sought.
Ideally you would have had experience on large civil engineering infrastructure projects and, in particular, on rail possessions/blockades.
Duties will include –
- Confidently set out of the works in the time given.
- Interpreting the drawings
- Ensuring H&S and QA
- Compiling as-builts
- Solve survey/setting out problems effectively and quickly
Requirements include –
- Previous continuous experience on large infrastructure projects
- Capable of reading interpreting complex drawings
- A good understanding of the construction process and the setting out thereof
- A surveying or civil engineering qualification
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Good interpersonal skills
- PTS or willing to get one
- CSCS, first Aid
