An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Setting Out Engineer to join an highly regarded Civil Engineering contractor in London at one of Europe's busiest airports.
You will be working within the civils team (NIGHT SHIFT) on an airport expansion project in London. This is a pivotal role within an organisation who has been working with top tier clients on landmark projects. As an organisation, they undertake all aspects of civil engineering works including earthworks, drainage, utilities and pavements so you will need experience within these fields. Candidates with existing airside security clearances are highly encouraged to apply.
You will be responsible for:
-Setting Out
-Assisting the Senior Engineer on airside / landside delivery work packages
-Amending method statements and risk assessments
-Managing the sub contractors
-Carrying out quality inspections
-Produce ITPs and as-builts
-Planning weekly and monthly programmes
Skills Required:
-Experience in pavement / airport / terminal construction
-Completed construction related Engineering Degree, HNC or similar
-Valid CSCS card
-Previously worked as a Site Engineer
