We are looking for enthusiastic setting out engineer to join a sub-contractor working on bulk earthworks projects in Essex. The project duration will be approximately 3 months depending on weather/progress and the client is looking for a candidate who is able to setout confidently while adhering to all H&S, Quality Assurance, method statements, risk assessments, temporary work briefs etc.
The day to day role will involve;
- Working alongside the Site Manager/Supervisor to maintain the smooth running of site operations.
- Setout of dig perimeters and taking asbuilt records of installed panels using Trimble GPS
- Completing land surveys
- Producing panel layout plans using AutoCAD
- Site record keeping including daily diaries and progress reports
Ideal candidates will have;
- Valid CSCS card
- Experience using AutoCAD and Trimble GPS, however, training can be provided if required
- Prior experience working on earthworks projects
Sites are often located in rural/industrial areas so candidates will need to be open to travel options outside of public transport.
