Tier One principle contractor seeks to employ Setting-out Engineers for a demanding smart motorway project. Engineers with experience in drainage, earthworks, concrete structures, barriers, comms etc on major roads projects including arterials, dual carriageways, section 278 works and highway works are sought after.
Duties will include –
- Setting out of the works
- Collecting and transferring as built information
- Guiding subcontractor
- Obtaining permits
- Daily reporting
- Checking QA and H&S
The requirements for this post are –
- A qualification in civil engineering or similar
- Already competent in setting out
- Recent civil engineering project experience (roads, utilities, civil structures, rail etc)
- Exposure to medium to large civil engineering projects.
- CSCS and First Aid
- A good collaborative “can do” attitude
