Principle Contractor seeks the services of an experienced Setting Out Engineer capable of keeping ahead of the subcontractor’s programme. Your experience in setting out of drainage, troughs, concrete bases and utilities on large roads projects will be essential to this opportunity.
Your Setting out duties will include –
- Setting out of the works and completing the as-builts
- Interpreting the design /drawings
- Daily interaction with nominated subcontractors
- Ensuring quality and H&S are adhered to
- Seeking permit approvals
The requirements for this post include
- Extensive setting out experience on major roads projects
- Civil Engineering /Surveying or similar qualification
- Previous long term stable employment history
- Proven ability to work unsupervised
- CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid
