An exciting opportunity has come up for a Setting Out Engineer to work for a regional contractor in Birmingham for at least 6 months. This role will involve setting out for external groundworks across 2 sites.
Setting out Engineers tasks will include but not limited to:
•Setting levels
•Setting drainage
•Providing technical advice
•Surveying the site
•Produce documentation on work performance were required.
•Deal with site problems to ensure that the project remains on plan.
•To at all times be aware of the value / cost of the materials they are using and to adopt a sustainable approach.
Required
- CSCS
- Minimum degree qualification in Civil Engineering or an equivalent
- Previous experience as a Setting Out Engineer
