Freelance opportunities exist for Setting Out/Site Engineers with solid civils/asphalt or concrete paving experience. Experience on highways, A-Roads, runways etc setting out drainage, pits & ducts, kerbing, surfacing and utilities are sought after
Your duties will include –
- Primarily setting out of the works ensuring the subcontractor can continue without delay
- Subcontractor supervision
- Checking quality
- Permit clearances, RFI and Daily dairy
- Compiling as builts
- Ensuring H&S
The requirements include –
- Competent in the setting out of highways and utilities type projects
- Preferably a civil engineering qualification
- Proven subcontractor management experience
- CSCS, First aid
- Willing to obtain the required security clearance
- Willing to work 12-hour day/night shifts and weekends
