SHE Advisor – Thames Water Framework 

📍 Thames Valley Region (Lot 1)
🚗 Field-Based Role – Travel Required Across the Region


The Role

As a SHE Advisor, you will be an integral part of the Thames Water Alliance SHE team, working closely with SHE Manager and key stakeholders – from Directors and Clients to site delivery teams and contractors. You will provide expert advice, operational support, and guidance to ensure compliance, reduce risk, and foster a positive safety culture across our sites in the Thames Valley region.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day SHE support and informed advice across multiple operational sites.

  • Support and promote Kier’s SHE strategy, initiatives, and cultural change programmes.

  • Monitor compliance with SHE policies, procedures, and legal requirements.

  • Lead and contribute to incident investigations and audits.

  • Deliver training insights and help identify SHE development needs.

  • Report on SHE performance and trends to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Actively participate in alliance-wide improvement programmes and initiatives.


What You’ll Need

Essential:

  • NEBOSH Level 3 (or equivalent safety qualification).

  • Experience in construction, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.

  • Full UK driving licence – this is a regional, mobile role.

Desirable:

  • Prior experience in the water industry.

  • Experience with incident investigation and reporting.
