Our client is a design and build construction company, specialising in regeneration projects for residential, commercial and retail space.
They are now looking for a SHEQ Officer to join their team on a permanent basis in Watford. You will be required to travel to sites when needed, all travel expenses will be covered.
As a SHEQ Officer you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring employees and visitors follow health & safety procedures
- Completing Safety Induction Training for new employees and sub- contractors
- Carrying safety audits
- Investigating, recording and reporting accidents
- Ensuring correct PPE is available
- Attending regular H&S meetings
- Reviewing safety policies and compliance
Requirements:
- Degree/HND in construction or business related discipline or equivalent
- Experience in similar role
- Good IT knowledge
- Good knowledge of H&S policies
- Flexibility to travel to sites
