Carmichael are seeking an administrator ideally with some shipping experience
The role focuses on providing a professional distribution service to customers, accurately and efficiently taking orders, and negotiating them into logistically sound planning schedule that accounts for the customer needs, ensuring optimisation of the available land network and cost-effective utilisation of the vehicle fleet.
Day to day duties
Build a solid working relationship with customers, team members and hauliers
Accurately take order information ad input on the relevant system
Respond positively to all customers
Schedule and ensure timely delivery of orders agreed with the customers, optimising effective truck utilisation whilst making sound cost logistical decisions
Assist the transport management team it the day-to-day management of drivers
