CarmichaelUK are looking for a Site / Section Engineer to work with a tier 1 contractor on a major Public Health England research and date center in Harlow, North West Essex. This is a £400m job, with our client acting as one of the 4 main contractors on the job, their package of works includes the associated civils and infrastructure for the development including; drainage, roads, 278 works. The project is still in the relatively early stages and is due for completion in early 2024.
Reporting into the Site Agent, you will be responsible for:
- Day-to-day engineering management of site
- Ensuring work is carried out within the correct h&s specifications
- Keeping site diary
- Setting out
- Supporting the production or RAMs
- Sending RFIs
- Subcontractor management
We are looking for someone who:
- Has an HND or higher in Civil Engineering or related subject
- Holds a valid CSCS card
- Has experience working for a tier 1 main contractor
- Has strong ground and earthworks experience
