We are recruiting for an amazing opportunity for a committed and dedicated Site Engineer for one of the most exciting infrastructure projects in the UK. Hinkley Point C will be the first nuclear energy plant built in the UK for over 30 years and you could be part of the team which delivers this innovative energy project. Working on this project will not only gain you valuable skills and experience, but you will enhance your future career prospects by having worked on this project.
For this position, your key responsibilities and duties will include:
- Predominately setting out on site
- Liaising with Foreman
- Producing pre & post pour surveys
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Liaising with Section Engineer & Foreman
- MUST be prepared to take ownership of works area
To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Degree, Bachelors, MSc or HND in Civil Engineering
- Experience of working in a main contractor environment
- Extensive Experience in setting out for Reinforced concrete and concrete structures
- Experienced in Earthworks
- Hold a valid CSCS certification
