A widely recognised Civil Engineering contractor are searching for a Senior Site Agent to add to their team on a permanent basis.
Having been established for over 60 years, they have a long history of dealing with some of the most challenging projects across the UK within the Highways, Marine, Rail and Environmental sectors.
They require an experienced Senior Site Agent with knowledge of Highways, S278/38 and Infrastructure to work on schemes throughout the Northamptonshire area up to the value of £25m.
They take pride in retaining and developing their staff with many of their senior management starting their careers and progressing through the ranks and are now managing several key projects and divisions.
Your duties:
- Attending pre-start meetings to gain understanding of project requirements and expectations
- Assisting the contracts/project manager with the production of construction programme and materials take-offs
- Manage/assist in pre-commencement surveys
- Enforce company policy on PPE
- Client liaison
- Manage HSEQ issues in accordance with CDM2007
- Manage quality of work to ensure compliance with specification
- Representing the company at progress meetings in professional manner
- Manage snagging/handover process
Skills/Qualifications:
- HNC or above in Construction Management or equivalent
- SMSTS
- CSCS Black card
- First Aid
- Strong knowledge of S38 and S278
- Temporary Works Supervisor
- AP Lifting
- Stable career history required
