CarmichaelUK are looking for a Site Agent to work for one of our clients who are subcontracting on the central section of HS2 for Align JV. Our client is a heavy civils subcontractor who work with a number of the UK's leading construction companies on major projects across the country. The site is situated in Maple Cross, Hertfordshire and the successful candidate will be required fora minimum of 6 months.
Reporting into the Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and overseeing works carried out on site
- Raising RFIs
- Ensuring work is carried out within strict H&S guidelines
- Reviewing and resolving technical discretions with the design
- Lookaheads
We are looking for someone who:
- Has an HNC or higher in Civil Engineering or related subject
- Holds a valid CSCS card
- Comes from a heavy civils background
- Has operated at Site Agent/Site Manager level on a major project
