A widely recognised Civil Engineering contractor are searching for a Site Agent to add to their team on a permanent basis.
Having been established for over 60 years, they have a long history of dealing with some of the most challenging projects across the UK within the Highways, Marine, Rail and Environmental sectors.
They require an experienced Site Agent with knowledge of Highways, S278/38 and Infrastructure to work on schemes throughout Cambridge, Northamptonshire and Peterborough.
Your duties:
- Understand the method statements and risk assessments produced and issued for the works
- Enforce company policy on PPE with all operatives, subcontractors and visitors
- Liaise with clients/representatives in a professional manner
- Attending pre-start and site agent briefings to gain and understanding of project requirements
- Manage efficient mobilisation of resources to site
- Reporting any incidents to H&S department
Skills/Qualifications:
- SMSTS
- HNC or above in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
- CSCS
- Able to produce programmes using Pertmaster or Microsoft Project
- First Aid
- NRSWA Supervisor
- Stable career history
- Experience of working on highways and infrastructure projects
