Our client a civil engineering contractor requires a Site Agent to join their team on a permanent basis for a recently awarded project in East London.

Project Scope over the next 2 years minimum.

Construction of 4 new access bridges, which will improve both foot and road access to the new BHSEL residential development known as Twelve Tree’s Park.

  • 2 new foot bridges constructed adjacent the live an operational NR C2C line and over the existing manor rd and LUL/DLR lines to the North and South of West Ham Station. These will provide safe and direct pedestrian access from Manor Rd.
  • Construction of a new station access bridge which provides level access from the new residential development over the current LUL line directly into West Ham Station. This also includes station upgrade and facility extension creating further retail and BOH and w/c space.
  • The 4th and last bridge (BR 3) doubles the current vehicular infrastructure over both LUL & DLR lines which connects Manor rd with Stephenson St. This new bridge structure essentially extends the existing circa 150 year old masonry bridge North and is considered the major part of the development scheme that also improves the surrounding and existing road network.

Candidate must have as a minimum as well as previous as below:

  • SMSTS
  • 1st aid
  • Appointed person cranes (not essential but the difference)

  • They are look for a good solid Site Agent on a permanent basis to manage the following in a rail and public environment:

  • Ground works
  • Piling
  • Demolition
  • R/C structures
  • Lifting and landing bridges
  • S278 road works
  • Brick-work
  • Roofing & cladding
  • Small internal fit-out
  • MEP (later on)

  • Working in and around rail and road environments

  • LUL, NR and local authority working process’s and relationships
