We are recruiting for a Senior Agent with previous Crossrail experience to assist in the closeout of a major station upgrade project in Central London.
You will be responsible for management of the remaining Civils and Architectural fit-out packages.
As a Agent for this scope of works, your duties will include:
- Strong ability to manage a construction site. This includes all construction related activities, safety and quality aspects of the works.
- Management of fit out works and subcontractors
- Considerable experience in managing major external works packages, preferably in a railway station construction site or similar safety-conscious environment.
- A good awareness of construction methods plant and equipment installation, finishes and systems integration.
- Be knowledgeable of the CDM Regulations as applied to the Design and Construction processes.
- Be knowledgeable of relevant British, European, LUL and Company Standards and the Reference/Working Manual.
- Experience of working on multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
- Experience of operating in a multi-contractor site environment.
- Experience of commissioning and handover of infrastructure assets for operational use and effective construction phasing.
- Experience of working in complex project management, safety focused and regulated organisation, where there are multiple, complex interfaces and delivering to time, budget and quality.
You will also need to demonstrate the following:
- Have previously worked within the fit out and civils sectors
- Previously worked as an Agent (preferably with a main contractor)
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of quality assurance, writing method statements and risk assessments
- Hold a construction related degree or HNC
- Hold a valid CSCS Card
