Our client a major Civil Engineering contractor requires a Site Agent to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is to join the Fit Out team on the Bank Station Upgrade project in London.
The role of the Fit Out Agent is to plan, deliver, handover once completed, provide engineering control, supervision of production resources, ensuring compliance with project procedures for the following defined sections of the works;
External Facade Stonework; External Facade Louvres, Bronze Cladding and Doors; External Facade Canopy, Boswick Gate and Drainage; External Facade Glazing;
External Urban Realm Works, and site coordination.
This will involve in‐depth subcontractor management, ensuring designs and works are delivered on time, budget and without any incidents. The Agent must work very closely with the rest of the Delivery Team and Engineering Design Team, to ensure a high quality standard, safe and efficient delivery of the works.
Experience, knowledge, qualifications & training:

Have good communication skills in English (both written and verbal) and be able to report at Management level

Educated to degree or higher level or equivalent in a numerate discipline, typically an Engineering discipline. A lower educational level, typically HNC or HND may be acceptable where a very significant level of experience in a senior technical engineering role can be demonstrated.

Membership of an appropriate Professional body, typically Chartered member of Institute of Civil Engineering or an international equivalent professional status

Typically, 10 years experience with a Civil Engineering or Fit‐Out Contractor on large infrastructure, Fit‐Out or tunnelling contracts

Demonstrable previous relevant experience within LU or similar rail environment

Experience of managing programmes of work, ensuring the project runs to schedule

Experience in managing subcontractors, and finding solutions to problems that may cause delays or extra costs
-
Experience leading site teams and mentoring them to help build a solid project team
-
In‐depth knowledge of the development and implementation of quality management

Hold a minimum SMSTS Accreditation

Hold CSCS card

A good working knowledge of the:
