A mid-sized regional civil engineering contractor are searching for a Site Agent to join their team on a permanent basis.
Due to an increase in workload throughout the East Sussex and Kent area, they require a Site Agent with Highways Maintenance and drainage experience to join their team.
They have remained busy throughout 2020 due to the nature of the projects they undertake and have a strong order book for 2021.
This is an immediate position and require a Site Agent with a stable background who has a demonstrable track record of working on busy Highways schemes.
Some of your duties will include:
- Understand the method statements and risk assessments produced and issued for the works
- Enforce company policy on PPE with all operatives, subcontractors and visitors
- Liaise with clients/representatives in a professional manner
- Attending pre-start and site agent briefings to gain and understanding of project requirements
- Manage efficient mobilisation of resources to site
- Reporting any incidents to H&S department
Skills/Qualifications:
- SMSTS
- HNC or above in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
- CSCS
- First Aid
- Stable career history
- Experience of working on highways and infrastructure projects
