An established civil engineering contractor who have been operating for over 30 years are searching for a Site Agent to join their team on a permanent basis.
They are widely recognised for their professionalism within civil engineering which encompasses groundworks, highways maintenance, rail, traffic management and more.
Due to being awarded a new framework for the South-West, they require an Agent with strong Highways Maintenance, 278 works and local councils experience.
They are currently operating on 4 frameworks and require someone to assist with overseeing schemes up to £4m throughout the South-West of England.
Some of your duties will include:
- Promoting health & safety on site
- Attending meetings with clients
- Day to day management of site activities
- Ensure costs and budgets are monitored closely
- Training junior colleagues as and when needed
- Liaise regularly with commercial team to ensure budgets and quantities are in line with the work load
About you:
- Previous experience on Highways Maintenance contracts
- Willing to travel throughout the South-West
- Full UK Drivers license
