A mid-sized regional civil engineering contractor are searching for a Site Agent to join their team on a permanent basis.
They have recently began work on a £7m Highways Maintenance package consisting of Drainage, Kerbing, Road Widening, Street Lighting, Cycle Pathways and more.
This is a high profile project for the business and require a professional and commercially astute Site Agent who is able to liaise with the client regularly and ensure that the job is progressing in accordance to plans.
There is a compound based in the South-West London which is where you will be based out of when not on site.
This business have had a busy 2020 despite the circumstances and 2021 is looking to be even busier with a very strong pipeline, so if you are looking for a position which can offer long term stability then this may be a good option for you!
Some of your duties will include:
- Understand the method statements and risk assessments produced and issued for the works
- Enforce company policy on PPE with all operatives, subcontractors and visitors
- Liaise with clients/representatives in a professional manner
- Attending pre-start and site agent briefings to gain and understanding of project requirements
- Manage efficient mobilisation of resources to site
- Reporting any incidents to H&S department
Skills/Qualifications:
- SMSTS
- CSCS
- First Aid
- Stable career history
- Experience of working on highways and infrastructure projects
