This dynamic, International and professional civil engineering Contractor with a track record of delivering iconic projects across the UK and the world, seeks to employ a competent Site Agent to direct activities on their highway projects.
This is an opportunity to form part of a countrywide team of specialist delivering Smart Motorways for Highways England
Your Site Agent duties will include –
- Planning and programming of the works
- Monitoring and implementing the financial controls and cost reports
- Management and monitoring of Sub Agents, Section Engineers and the team
- Management of plant, materials and subcontractors
- Oversee and manage traffic management plans
- Liaise and chair client/project meetings
- Oversee daily administration, quality, audits, permits and records
- Oversee the setting out and as well as the as-builts
- Implement company procedures and protocols
- Compilation of Method statements and risk assessments
- Interpreting and implementing of the design
- Health and Safety compliance
Site Agent requirements include the following –
- A Civil Engineering Degree/Diploma
- Proven leadership experience preferably with a tier 1 or 2 civil engineering contractor
- Recent major roads/motorways construction experience as a Site Agent
- Self-motivated, conscientious and passionate with a keen sense of delivery
- CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid
