A tier 1 contractor has recently been awarded a Rail project in Exeter, Devon to support increased passenger capacity and associated rolling stock to the south-west.
They require a Site Agent to join their team on a permanent basis.
Our client has been awarded the detailed design and construct contract for the works comprising

Site clearance
-
A 3-road maintenance building with workshops and stores
-
3 storey office and welfare facilities for depot engineering and train crew operations personnel
-
Automatic train-wash with associated buildings, plant and infrastructure
-
All new and modified Permanent Way including switches, crossings, turntables in shed and buffers

Fluids storage and delivery/disposal systems, associated plant buildings and bunding.
As a Site Agent you will be responsible for the management of the construction site, in order to achieve required project delivery to the customers’ objectives, while maintaining standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact and cost control.
Already experienced as a site agent you will have a relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BEng) or equivalent).
You will have a hands on approach to the commercial and planning aspects of the project and you will have extensive civil engineering experience with rail interface.
