My client is a tier 1 contractor working on £100M project that involves the creation of a new road in East London. They are looking for a Site Engineer with experience working on a major roads/highways project to join their team on a contract basis.
Duties of Site Engineer include:
- Surveying and Setting out of the works (drainage, roads, kerbs, Piles etc)
- Quality control in accordance to the specifications
- Permit clearances
- Health and Safety compliance
Requirements for Site Engineer:
- Highway/Major Roads and Drainage experience (NECESSARY)
- HND or Degree in Civil Engineering
- Competent and accurate setting out skills
- Capable of compiling as builts
- Experience managing subcontractors (favourable)
- Deep drainage, piping, earthworks, trenching etc.
- CSCS
- The right to work in the UK
