Nights Site Engineer – Marine Piling – Ferry Terminal
Carmichael are recruiting for a Site Engineer to work NIGHTS for a Top Tier contractor on a marine piling package in East London. We are keen to hear from you if you have marine piling construction experience with a strong emphasis on quality management.
This is a temporary cover role expected to last for 1-2 months and you will benefit from market competitive rates whilst working for one of the industry’s leading contractors.
You will be working NIGHT SHIFT (7pm-7am) for the duration of the project on a Ferry Terminal Upgrade responsible for overseeing construction of the piling package.
As a Site Engineer for this scope of works, your duties will include:
- Assist the Section Engineer / Agent on the works
- Setting Out
- Quality Inspections and check sheets
- Liaison between Section the Sub Agent and client on site
If you would like to apply for the Nights Site Engineer position, you will also need to demonstrate the following:
- Have previously worked on a major project with a main contractor – Experience in a marine environment highly desirable
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of quality assurance, method statements and risk assessments
- Hold a construction related degree or HNC
- Hold a valid CSCS Card
