CarmichaelUK are looking for a Site Engineer to work Nights on major highways upgrade in Kent. The £150M scheme will include the construction of new slip roads, widening of existing roads and a new bridge.
This project is expected to run for the next 2 years and this will be long term work for the right candidate.
Reporting into the Sub Agent / Section Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Setting out
- production of As-built drawings
- ITP & Testing
- Quality documentation
- working to weekly programme
- Daily records (diary, photographs etc)
- Handover documentation
- Materials management
- Managing daily resources (plant, labour, materials and subcontractors)
- Takeoff
We are looking for someone who:
- Has worked on a major highway upgrade recently as a site engineer or engineering surveyor
Has an HNC or higher in Civil Engineering or related subject
- Holds a valid CSCS card
- Has a full, clean driving license
- Has experience of working next to a live highway
- Has experience setting out for earthworks, drainage, ducting and kerbs
