A short-term, holiday cover, opportunity exists for an experienced Site Engineer to oversee and mentor two junior Engineers, on a small but busy water project in West Yorkshire.
The works consist of the construction of a piling platform, piling, drainage, connection into and diverting of existing mains.
Your duties will include -
- Setting out the works
- Daily diary
- Progress photographs
- Quality Checks
- Signing off of ITPs
- Guiding/mentoring junior Engineers
Requirements for the post include -
- Extensive setting out experience on similar projects preferably for tier one or principal Contractors
- Self-motivated, reliable and can work unsupervised
- Familiar with Trimble R12 GPS, Leica Icon machine control and grade lasers
- As-builts using AutoCAD
- CSCS, First Aid and SMSTS/SSSTS (advantageous)
