Carmichael UK are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major infrastructure project in the Buckinghamshire area.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on HS2, delivering complex civil engineering works as part of one of the UK’s largest infrastructure programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out and surveying for civil engineering works
- Producing and maintaining accurate site records
- Completing QA documentation, ITPs and inspection records
- Checking drawings, specifications and technical information
- Supporting the delivery of earthworks, drainage, structures and associated infrastructure
- Liaising with the wider engineering and site management teams
- Ensuring works are delivered safely and in accordance with programme and specification
- Assisting with permits and temporary works requirements where applicable
About You
- Previous experience working as a Site Engineer within civil engineering
- Experience on HS2, Tier 1 or other major infrastructure projects would be advantageous
- Strong setting out experience using relevant surveying equipment
- Good understanding of QA, ITPs and engineering documentation
- Experience across earthworks, drainage, structures or major civils
- CSCS card required
- Relevant civil engineering qualification such as an HNC, HND or degree would be beneficial
