Engineers with previous solid marine piling and jetty construction are sought after.
Your duties will include (depending on title) -
- Managing the setting out of the works
- Compiling method statements and risk analysis
- Interpreting and implementing of the construction process and procedure
- Ensuring the works are constructed according to the design and specifications
- Solving technical issues with engineering solutions
- Planning of the works inclusive of lift plans
- Monitoring and management of the nominated subcontractors
- Quality control of heavy reinforced concrete structures and concrete batching
- Permit clearances, RFIs, daily records, etc.
- Oversee the compilation of As built drawings
- Health and Safety compliance
Requirements for this post include
- Civil Engineering degree or diploma
- Solid continuous delivery experience within the marine construction sector
- Heavy reinforced concrete construction including precast decking and cast in situ decking
- Principal contractor experience
- Appointed Person for lift plans
- CCSCS, SMSTS and First Aid
