An exciting opportunity for a Site Engineer has come up to work with a Main JV on HS2. This is a freelance position based in the Hertfordshire region and a great opportunity to be involved with one of the most prestigious projects in Europe.
You will be undertaking the Ground investigation package of works so Ground investigation experience is essential
Description of Activities to be undertaken

Planning during pre-construction phase
-
Review and approve SSOWs, Plans etc
-
Co-ordinate subcontractors TM requirements and permit to dig
-
Co-ordinate construction activities
-
Subcontractor management - all aspects
-
Weekly meetings, reporting and assist project controls function

Support the subcontractor to determine and deliver their commitments

Audit Subcontractor compliance
Minimum Qualifications Needed for Role

Educated to degree level, ideally with 2 years post qualification experience, some of which should have been gained working in a similar sector.

Must have experience in Ground investigation works

Excellent communication, personal planning and interpersonal skills
