CarmichaelUK are recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer on a major rail infrastructure works contract based in South London; We are keen to hear from you if you have major project experience working on civils, Rail, RC, utilities diversions and groundworks projects.
**Previous experience in utilities diversions is critical
This project is expected to last another 6 months and you will benefit from market competitive rates whilst working for one of the industry’s leading contractors.
As a Site Engineer for this scope of works, your duties will include:
-Assist the Section Engineer for all section of works
-Amending and writing method statements and risk assessments
-Help managing the self delivery labour force
-Carrying out quality inspections
-Produce ITPs and as-builts
-Planning weekly and monthly programmes
If you would like to apply for the Site Engineer position, you will also need to demonstrate the following:
- Have previously worked within a rail environment and civils sectors
- Previously worked as an experienced site engineer (preferably with a main contractor)
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of quality assurance, writing method statements and risk assessments
- Hold a construction related degree or HNC
- Hold a valid CSCS Card
