CarmichaelUK are looking for a Site/Setting Out Engineer to work with an earthworks and much shifting sub-contractor on multiple projects across Essex. Our client is a very well respected local contractor with a strong order book of work for the remainder of the year. They are looking for someone with earthworks experience who is strong on the instrument and with CAD to support them manage their workload for the foreseeable future.
Reporting into a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Site setting out
- Working alongside the General Foreman to maintain smooth running of site operations
- Producing as-built surveysTaking site data and inputting into AutoCAD
- Ensuring high levels of site health & safety are adhered to
- Site record keeping including site diaries and progress reports
We are looking for someone who has:
- An HNC or higher in Civil Engineering or related subject
- A valid CSCS card
- Strong setting out skills
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD
