CarmichaelUK are looking for a Site Engineer to work with one of our clients who operates in the remediation sector. Due to an increase in workload moving into 2021 they are looking to stregnthen their team with someone who has earthworks and BIM/modelling experience. The successful candidate will join their Midlands team and be based out of Market Harborough. To start with you will be working as part of a tender team for projects in Walsall and Stafford, from there you will move into the delivery team for one of these projects. The role will be freelance until the new year, with the view to making the role permanent from there.
The role will involve:
- Setting out
- Site inspections
- Site diary keeping
- Volume calculations
- Subcontractor management
- QA
- RAMs
We are looking for someone who:
- Has an HNC or higher in civil engineering or related subject
- Holds a valid CSCS card
- Is midlands based
- Has experience of working on projects with earthworks and bulk earthworks
- Has BIM/modelling experience (bonus)
- Has a full, clean driving license
