Our client a contractor that specialises in civil engineering and bulk earthworks schemes requires a Site Engineer to join there team on a permanent basis.
Their projects run across the Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire and Kent regions.
You will be required to travel to various sites as required. They offer flexible working to enable you to be home every night.
Main duties will include:
- Setting out and checking works as required for the project (Trimble, Leica, etc.)
- Carry out as-built surveys on complete works and drawings.
- Undertaking daily inductions
- Maintaining a site diary
- Undertaking weekly checks and completing a task list as outlined by the Project Manager
- Checking setting out instruments weekly/monthly
- Resolve setting out queries and raise necessary RFI's in relation to these.
- General responsibility for site safety
Requirements:
- Earthworks experience
- Excel experience
- BEng Civil Engineering or similar
- CSCS Card
- SMSTS & First Aid preferable
