CarmichelUK are looking for a Site Engineer to work for one of our tier 1 clients on a contract for Crossrail West. This contract is the upgrading of a number of stations along the western section of Crossrail, work includes platform extension, lift shafts and new ticket halls. work has now progressed to fit-out and finishes, therefore we are looking for someone with fit-out and civils experience to come on board and support the close out of the job. This job is based at Hayes & Harlington station, with our client looking for someone to start ASAP and likely to be required for 4 months.
You will be responsible for:
- Subcontractor management (cladding, ceiling, tiling, MEP, scaffold and civils)
- QA and snag reporting
- Reviewing and writing RAMs
- Permits
- Setting out
- Supporting the coordination of temporary works
We are looking for someone who:
- Has an HNC or higher in civil engineering or related subject
- Holds a valid CSCS card
- Holds a valid SSSTS or SMSTS
- Has a valid PTS
- Has CAT Scan training
- Has station and main contractor experience
